OMG!  I kept thinking I need to send out an invite for our March Knitting and then today it occurred to me that it was already March.  How does that happen?  It's like weeks just disappear on me.

August 4 is next meeting

Happy 4th of July weekend to my knitting friends - in keeping with tradition we are NOT meeting during the month of July.  I will be up in Portland for the "Waterfront Blues Festival" starting on Friday July 1 thru July 5.  Hope you are all planning something fun for the long weekend!


The results of the "Doodle Poll" (and thanks for participating) show that we will have five people available on the first Thursday, August 4.  So, I am happy to invite you all to my NEW place at Rossmoor, starting at 6:30pm, the address is:

At Rossmoor there is an entry gate with a live person in it - you must tell them that you are here to visit me, and give them my address, then they will let you in.  (I will call down and give them all of your names the day before we meet.)  I will send out a reminder with some specific driving instructions on the Monday before we meet.


By the way, I've made 2 baby caps since our last meeting and plan to make a few more this coming weekend while loafing around listening to live music.  Or at least while on the plane!

I am so impressed that you have made NINE BABY CAPS and were willing to loan me one :) !!
I am determined to get back into baby cap production this summer, at my new home.  Speaking of which, I will be hosting our next meeting, to be held either in mid-July or in August.  I will be sending out a "Doodle Poll" email to each of you to help us nail down what everyone's availability is.  So watch your email!
